Cisco 6500 Sup Card WX-x6k-sup2-2ge

I have a SUP card for a 6500 Chassis which boots up ok in CATOS but goes into ROMmon when I try and switch over to IOS and it gives a message "PFC  version detected does not match configured version". I have checked on cisco touble shooting for clues on how to get round the problem but not much info is available, any suggestions will be welcome.

When the MSFC is in ROM monitor (ROMmon) mode, follow these commands to fix the problem:

rommon 1 >priv
You now have access to the full set of monitor commands. Warning: some commands will allow you to destroy your
configuration and/or system images and could render the machine unbootable.
rommon 2 >EARL_VER=6
rommon 3 >sync
rommon 4 >confreg 0x2102

You must reset or power cycle for new config to take effect

rommon 5 >reset
