cisco 6509 is not able to sync with unix ntp and windows 2008 server. earlier we have configured to win 2003 server (which is a domain controller) and it worked fine. recently our windows team has introduced win 2008 in the AD environment and my core and access layer has stopped syching. does it require any additional conf for unix server?
The switch really doesn't care if the device is running window, Unix or any other 3rd part Sync server. It just points to the device to sync the clock. If anything, there may be something in Unix you may have to enable.
