Hi all
need a little bit of help regarding VSS, trying to add more channel to existing VSL port channel. Details as below
Sup-VS-S720-10G - using 1 link for VSL
line card - WS-X6716-10GE - like to add another 1 or 2 from this line card as well
the dilemma is these 10 Gig line card currently serving as distribution/access up link in oversubscribe mode, reading VSS document claims that all VSL links must operate in performance mode
is there any way i can operate/configure these, WS-X6716-10GE in mixed mode line port group 1 & 2 as performance , 3 & 4 over subscribe mode ?

Hi,
the 6716 Maps to 4 groups of 4. So, you should be able to designate one group for performance mode and use it for VSL link. This is if you don't have any port already configured in that group. Have a look at this link:
