cisco 857 speed suddenly drops to zero

I bought my Cisco 857 a week ago. I am using 128 Kbps ADSL. It provides about 96 Kbps download for about 2 hours and then the speed drops to zero. Then I turn its switch off for about one minute and then I put it on. Again it provides 96 Kbps download and after 2 hours the speed drops again to zero. This problem still did not stop. Anyone pleas advise.

Login to the router and check the logs if there is any indication of disruption of connectivity. Download speed coming down to zero does not means that the connectivity is dropped, it could be getting rate limited. Following links may help you
