Cisco 897va - Are these devices linked to an account

Hello 

I have 2 of these devices that I’d like to sell on (I’ve never used them) 

Are they in anyway linked to an online cloud platform/account that would lock the device to it, similar to the meraki mx models?

it will not locked, but i do not believe you can change the ownership, cisco device bit complicated. other person can buy and use it. but he can not register on his name as i know the polocies here.

Hello,

the 897 series is end of life as far as I know. Since you have never used them, chances are very high that there is no service contract for these devices anyway, but to be sure, use the Device Coverage Checker linked below:

If you have a service contract, I would download and install the latest IOS version, if not, just sell them with the IOS that is loaded by default.
