Hi all,
Apologies if this isn't the right place to ask this question, but I'm looking at buying the said router mentioned in the title for my home lab but i was wondering if I'd be able to run my Draytek router off it to allow wifi connectivity within my LAN? As I'm new to Cisco equipment and just starting my courses i wasn't sure if Cisco equipment was compatible with other manufacturers equipment so thought this would be the best place to ask :)
Thanks in advance

Jordan,
I don't see a reason this wouldn't work. Cisco equipment certainly interoperates with other manufacturers. You will want to have only one of the devices (the Cisco router) performing DHCP, routing, NAT, etc. The Draytek will essentially become a wireless access point. You will need to disable DHCP, etc. on this device, give it an IP address on the LAN and allow it to act as a wireless access point. I'm not familiar with the Draytek interface, but you should be able to find the steps easily.

Hi Brandon,
Thanks for the reply.
That's exactly what i assumed would be the case but just wanted to double check first :)
Thanks for your help.
