Cisco 9200 Stack remove

Hi team

We have two Cisco Catalyst 9200 in Stack, in a period of approximately 4 months we had 3 episodes where one of the boxes leaves the Stack, getting REMOVED status

To go back, a reboot is necessary in that box that was left out. The physical ports of the removed box continue to appear in the “show ip int brief”, but all have adm DOWN and DOWN status.

After restarting the box that was out of the stack.

How can I solve this problem?

Hello,

I'd recommend a IOS upgrade. Cause stack have not much to tune in terms of configuration so when it break usually is some software  issue.

Hi,

As Flavio also noted, this is most likely a software bug, and an upgrade will fix the problem. You may also want to open a ticket with TAC on this, as they may have a bug id associated with this issue.

Post the complete output to the following command:

  1. sh version
  2. dir flash-1:
  3. dir flash-1:core
  4. dir flash-1:tracelogs
  5. dir crashinfo-1:
