Hi Team,
Just want to ask a question.
Recently our customer is ordering a bunch of C9300 and we do staging for those device.
From initial config, when i type the command Show license all , it shows that the device have a device DNA Essential already existing/embedded in the switch purchased license(example screenshot below):
but, due a sudden change proposed config,
we try to reset 1 switch with command factory-reset all , but unfortunately,
that command make switch "delete all" configuration including cisco OS switch/to ROMMON after reload,
and after we copy the OS to the and booting normally,
when we try to show license all, it looks like Purchased License before is "missing" :
is it fine? how can we make the purchased license showed up on switch that has been Factory-Reset all ?
will it causing problem in the future?
due the switch will be configured as Stack with other switch
Many thanks.
Regards.

Hello @Agung1007
When you perform a factory reset on the switch, it will remove all the existing configurations, including the license information. This means that after the reset, the switch will not have any license information, and you will need to reinstall the license.
Do you have the license file ?
Alternatively, you can use the Smart Licensing portal to manage the license for the switch.
It's important to ensure that the switch has a valid license installed, as this is required for certain features to work properly. Perhaps you should contact Cisco support too.

Hello,
Thanks for the response,
how do we reinstall the license on the switch? (beside connect it to the internet/smart license portal)
I already ask the Internal Team and check the following box,
but seems like there's no license file that being sent by email/on the box.
there's only a piece of paper in how to connect the device/register to the smart license.
Thanks.
