cisco best practise for lan switching (layer 2 segment)

hi,

i configure Enter prise switching setup. customer already having core switch with 6500 series now they purchased 7*4500 switches for access layer . We configure basic things .. can any one suggest me what are all the configuration we can add apart from customer requirement (looking for best practice adding some features ) so that the performance & other add on value will get customer (this is pure layer 2 segment ) vtp configure as client....
