CISCO Boot Fix

A company voice gateway has this configuration in running configuration for IOS boot.

boot-start-marker
boot system flash:c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.154-3.M4.bin
boot system flash:/c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.154-3.M6.bin
boot-end-marker

so here which IOS will be used by the the gateway and which one is correct boot system flash: or boot system flash:/

1st one will be used first if that fails 2nd image will be used as its in order , both formats will load that way, it doesn't matter one is missing the / as long as its pointing to flash

Just to add to what Mark has already posted, the first boot statement should default to looking in the root directory, the second statement explicitly looks in the root directory.
