Cisco C3750X-48P versus C3750X-48PF models

Is there any difference between these two other an what the PS was that came with them??

I always assumed I could take a 48P model and just swap out the 715 Watt and install one 1100 watt (or maybe 2 of them) and have the same dynamics and power available as the 48PF model. Been doing this for years and now I am wondering if there is any real difference because some site pricing seems to make a big deal of the F designation for some reason...  Thanks ,  never really looked into the switch detail specifics between the two in terms of buffers or storage.

Yes you are right, i do not see big difference looking more details about both, other power you have mentioned.

"F" stands for "full (PoE) power". This means, with the correct PS, there is a guarantee of 15.4w PoE to all 48-ports. That's all.
