As you probably know, Cisco says NM-4-10G and NM-8-10G support both 1G and 10G transceivers. I was going to buy 3850-48P with NM-4-10G and use uplink port to connect 10G and 1G modules ( SFP and SFP+ ) . I couldn't find any footprint of NM-4-10G in 1G compatibility matrix ! I also found an old topic which said : It results err-disable status! TAC said it's a bug and will be solved but I still suspect .
Have you ever had experience about using NM-4-10G and GLC-SX-MM or GLC-SX-MMD ? Does the switch will effect on result ? 'm going to pick 3850-48P-E or something that supports NM-4-10G
