Cisco C9200L-48P-4X can't power POE Device

SENsanity

Level 1

Switch: Cisco C9200L-48P-4X
IOS XE Version: 17.12.03 (cat9k_lite_iosxe)
IP Phones: ShoreTel 115 and Yealink T30P
Access Points: UniFi AC Pro

All switch ports are functioning for data transmission, but none are supplying power to PoE devices. I have already tried setting power inline static, but the ports still do not provide power.

When an IP phone is connected to port 15, the show power inline command returns no information.

However, when I replace the IP phone with a laptop, the port status comes up successfully, indicating data flow.

Could this issue be related to a physical port malfunction or a firmware bug? I would appreciate your insights and expertise on this.

Thanks!

Also did you run lldp in global and interface?

@SENsanity

Did you enable CDP and LLDP?

Both C9200L-48P-4X supports PoE+ on the 48 ports.

Disconnect the cable from the laptop/phone, etc and leave it dangling.  Perform the following:

conf t
interface Gi1/0/15
 power inline never
do test cable tdr interface Gi1/0/15

Wait for about 20 seconds and then follow up with:

do sh cable tdr interface Gi 1/0/15
no power inline never
end

Post the output to the show command.

Hi @Leo Laohoo, please see output below
Current config of port 15

Nothing wrong with the 1 metre cable.

Either use a power injector or raise a TAC Case.
