Hello everyone,
We have a few questions regarding the Cisco StackWise Virtual configuration on our system:
We own a pair of Cisco Catalyst C9407R switches, each chassis is equipped with a single C9400X-SUP-2XL supervisor module.
For each chassis, we have purchased 2 x QSFP-100G-LR-S= and 4 x SFP-10G-LR-S= transceivers.
While reviewing the official Cisco documentation "High Availability Configuration Guide, Cisco IOS XE 17.18.x (Catalyst 9400 Switches) - Configure Cisco StackWise Virtual [Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series Switches] - Cisco", we noticed that the QSFP-100G-LR-S= module is missing from the list of supported transceivers for StackWise Virtual Link (SVL) usage.
Could you please clarify if this information is correct? In the event that the QSFP-100G-LR-S cannot be utilized for SVL, are we able to use the SFP-10G-LR / LR-S transceivers instead?
Please note that the two switches are deployed approximately 500 meters apart from each other.
Thank you, and we look forward to your support.

hi @TheAnhPham0614 yes you are correct about 100G SFP and still you can use 10G-LR to do SVL. but make sure your design is adhere with the real requirement.
