I've followed the password recover procedure and set the password to each login level from the link below, when the switch rebooted it still displayed the message below, prior to this ive reset the passwords on the follwoing levels
Secret,

The information below has been taken from the switch all passwords have been reset, once switch has been rebooted I'm still getting the motd banner and login:
I've rebooted the unit again and rerun the commands of
Flash_init
load_helper
boot
but i'm still getting the same message below and not quite sure where to goto from here
The system has been interrupted prior to initializing the
flash filesystem. The following commands will initialize
the flash filesystem, and finish loading the operating
system software:
flash_init
load_helper
boot
switch: flash_init

Hi Paul,
You forgot to rename the config file to some other name so that system won't boot it.
After the "load_helper" run the "dir flash:". You should see config.text file there. Rename it with the following command "rename flash:config.text flash:config.old" to other file name and after that run "boot".
Switch should boot in initial config prompt now. Say "no" and restore configuration:
rename flash:config.old flash:config.text
copy flash:config.text system:running-config
Finally, change the passwords and vty auth and save configuration to flash with "wr".
Kind Regards,
Ivan
