Cisco Catalyst 2960 fiber optic port problem

Hi,

i am working on a Problem with the cisco catalyst 2960 Switch. I have a fiber optic ring and i checked this ring already, but one fiber optic port of the Switch is not working. The amber light appears all the time. I checked the cable and swapped it with the cable of the other port. Then the other port is flashing with an amber light and the one which was not working is ok. I also checked in the configuration and it says that this port is not enabled. But it is enabled. See Picture below.

If somebody could help me, that would be great! ^^

Have you changed the fiber patch cord?

Have you tried with other SFP or other port?

You could reset the configuration via CLI using: 

conf t

default interface <interface>

Also have you verified if the SFP model is the same in both ends?

Check if your port is going into err-disable ?
