Cisco Catalyst 2960 PoE Hans on

Salam Aleykum.

I have WS-C2960-25PC-L  switch. It turns on normal.

In normal working state, it unexpectedly hangs on, does not work, even MODE button does not work. No reactions.

What should be reason?

faulty hardware or faulty software ...

Start by updating the software to a stable version. What are you running at the moment?

It is customer's switch. I have information that this switch worked stable before. Customer's IT employee said that - In one of last days it stopped working, even it did not load (that is, all Led lights hang on). But when I take for diagnosing, I saw that switch normally loads. In working state after  few time (30 min, 1 our etc.) it hangs on.

The image is not that old as I expected. If you can, try 12.2.55-SE8, but I think, it's more likely that you have to open a case for the switch because of HW-problems.
