Cisco Catalyst 2960-X 370W max poe supported

Hello Guys does any one have idea if 2960x 48 port with 370w stictly support 24poe ports for up to 15W or it can suport mor device if it is lowe that 15W.

waht is the maximum poe ports that can be supported if i will connect AIR-AP1815W-E-K9 with 8.5W power draw? is it still 24 port or it is load balancing based fro  370W max power.

Depends on exact model of the switch. some model support 740W also.

if you have 370W PSU, it  calculated as per document 12 port- 30W and 24port - 15.4W.

you can connect more devices as long as you have enough PoE power. only issue you see while starting the device some device more power then they stable.

Look at the top output to the command "sh power inline". It will indicate how much PoE is left.
