cisco catalyst 3850 license downgrade

Hi,

I have Catalyst 3850 with ipbase license and I need to downgrade it to lanbase license.

so, the is this 3850 eligible to downgrade to 'lanbase' license without purchasing the 'lanbase' license?

Please try the "license boot level lanbase" command to downgrade to lanbase.

Hey I have a similar situation.

I am thinking of ordering 3850-12XS-S to add to an existing stack of 2x 3850-24XU-L switches. Will I be able to add XS to the stack with the downgrade command?
