Cisco Catalyst 9300 Setup Help

Hello,

I received a Cisco Catalyst 9300 and I'm trying to figure out how to set it up. I have looked on Google / YouTube and can't find anything on getting it setup. The attached stock image is the exact setup I have. Do I need to purchase a network module in order to connect it to my other switch? Or does the management RJ45 port in the rear of the unit work?

If you like to connect this to any core or distribution good to have a network module - depends on the requirement

or for testing, you can use any Ethernet ports to connect to the uplink switch.

So it's very strange, none of my 48 ports light up when I connect a CAT cable. Do I need a network module card installed in order to use any of the front 48 ports?

 - Check if your device works properly , by attaching a console, and do a cold-power-up , check if console output is normal.
