Hello Jonathan,
I understand correctly you have been tasked to use an Ethernet over SDH service to interconnect two point-to-point links and to build a bundle at both ends.
This should be possible and delay differences on the two paths shouldn't be a great problem like it might be for ATM IMA for example.
the service should be able to carry every valid frame over the DWDM pipe including signalling frames STP and LACP or PAGP to note.
Edit:
cisco has products of this kind in its portfolio
see
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/optical/ps2001/products_white_paper09186a008021dea6.shtml
Also to be noted that in the past we had a strange problem at OSI layer1: connecting directly a 10/100/1000 port to a 10 Mbps of an SDH device caused problems, putting in the middle an older switch with 2 FE port worked.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

This is going over a SONET but if you have a DWDM system the SONET interface can be connecetd to DWDM system.
