Hello!

I configure NTP on switch IE-2000 but after reload, I see incorrect time/date before switch synchronise time by NTP again.

What can I configure synchronisation local hardware clock with software clock like use "ntp update-calendar" command on another switches?

Thanks!

This is a typical behavior as the hardware clock is not accurate. That's why a reliable timing source is needed such as NTP. The hardware clock (calendar) runs continuously including the time when the system is powered off or rebooted but its a battery-powered chip that tends to gradually lose or gain time. The short answer would be no configuration on the IOS level can maintain the hardware system clock after a reload unless NTP is used.

I hope this helps.
