Cisco IE 3300 Active/Active Power Supplies

I have a Cisco IE 3300 switch installed with two 480w AC to DC power supplies. Is it possible for them to be used in a active/active mode?

From this document:

Cisco Catalyst IE3x00 Rugged Series Switches Hardware Installation Guide - Product Overview [Cisco Catalyst IE3300 Rugged Series] - Cisco

"The switch can operate with a single power source or with dual power sources. When both power sources are operational, the switch draws power from the DC source with the higher voltage. If one of the two power sources fail, the other continues to power the switch."

Which indicates there is no mechanism to configure active/active active/passive operation

both power sources are just connected in parallel to the switch as you could do with two batteries

(with some protection mechanism of course )
