Hi All,
I currently have a Cisco 3560 24 ports switch in my network using IP SERVICES, we are facing a network growth and need to expand to a Cisco 3560 48 ports, is it possible to transfer the current IP SERVICES license that I am currently using on the 24 port and start using it on the new 48 ports? Obviously I will go ahead and downgrade to IP BASE the 24 port as we are going to use it on the access layer and no Layer 3 capabilities are needed.
Is their a document where I can do reference on Cisco.com?
Thank you in advance,

Licenses are non-transferable.

License are generated based on udi number of the switch, which you can see using command "sh license udi".This number is unique on every switch,so license is also unique.
