I a brand new 3750 Cisco switch, my co-worker is sending the configuration for the switch. How would I take the config my co-worker is sending and copy it the new switch?
The new switch has no config on it.
Thanks!!!!!!!

Hi Alguinton,
You can use TFTP for the same.
Use the comand on the new switch with a connection to the tftp server or can use hyperterminal:
copy tftp://config.txt flash:
Or else copy the configuration and paste it in the config mode.

The 3750 is a different beast. What are you doing with the 3750? Are you installing a new switch or are you adding the 3750 to an existing stack? If you are installing a new switch then the command "copy tftp://config.text flash:" or "copy tftp://config.text run" will be suffice.
If you are adding the 3750 into an existing stack, just rack mount the switch (do NOT power up the switch as of yet), stack the cables and finally power up the 3750.
