Hello There!
We are thinking on upgrading out core switches to Cisco-Meraki switches. I'm not 100% sure yet.
As of everything is life, there are advantages and disadvantages. I would like to know if you guys
could tell the most relevant Cons and Pros of using Cisco-Meraki for core switches instead of the
regular Cisco core switches.
Thanks!

Cisco Meraki usually cost a lot more, but you get beautiful GUI management and a single pane of glass. This solution is quite good when your team doesn't have advanced skills, and your environment is not too complex.
Cisco "Classic" is more configurable and lets you tweak every setting. It also has far better diagnostic capabilities. If you have people with skills they can resolve issues faster and perform more complex configurations.

Hello ,
Just to add few more points ...
The Cisco Meraki brings the benefits of the cloud to networks of all sizes: simplified management, reduced complexity & network wide visibility and control etc ...
Major power play is under cloud management platform which gives strong offerings under below areas:
Single pane Management
Virtual stacking
L7 visibility
Some good tools for identification of physical layer issue
zero such provisioning...
Hope it helps.
