Hello all.
I have 3 Nexus 3K, specific model is N3K-C3172TQ-10GT, all of them running n3000-uk9.6.0.2.U6.6.bin from a USB. The software on them doesn't want to boot, that is n3000-compact.9.3.9.bin, when using this last image the switch just hangs when booting the image.
Booting the n3000-uk9.6.0.2.U6.6.bin from a USB works fine though. POAP is being skipped, and switch is running as default as possible.
All ports however, also the 6 SFP ports, all have notconnec 1 status, even though they are all connected.
For a simple test I have looped the connections, this always works on these switches. Port 1 to port 2, port 3 to port 4 and so on, using the same cables that I have always used. First cable from port 1 to port 2 has been tested and works in another nexus with this loop.
I also looped two SFP connections using a DAC cable, which also always work on these when doing preliminary testing.
These 3 switches however, none of them want to get their ports up. Also connecting the ports to an already working stupid D-link switch and the port doesn't come up.
Some outputs:

I only show the two first interfaces as they are all the same.
As mentioned all 48 ports are looped together so they should all show as up in any normal cases.
I tried to do shutdown and no shutdown on the interfaces but that didn't help.
wr er doesn't help either, it is already default configuration. Here is the running configuration:

I am honestly at a loss here. Why won't these interfaces just come up? Every single one.
If anyone knows anything, please, help a desperate man.

So I was busy working on this while waiting for a reply.
All 3 switches does the same, but two of them I got working. I went into loader, type in cmdline recoverymode=1 then boot the compact image on the switch, use config terminal, then admin-password to set a password I know.
Then I login, use wr er, reload the switch and BAM, it lit up like a christmas tree.
That was two of them though. The third one (which all output in original thread is coming from) doesn't like that.
same procedure, and the switch is also telling me during startup that it is running default config.
The full startup log is:

Still no connection despite having all the ports looped.
The other two had the same name, only a digit was changed, this one did too so I assume all 3 had same configuration that did this, but the third one just doesn't want to have any connection.

Looks like these are 10G ports, so make sure remove the SFP
interface eth x/x
shutdown
speed 1000
no shutdown
insert the SFP and test it.

These are RJ45 ports, only the 6 40G ports are SFP, those are QSFP and I've looped them with QSFP DAC cable, this works on the two other switches.
Doing what you wrote to port 31 and 32 (those are looped with RJ45 cable like the two that works) gives this:
switch(config)# interface Eth1/31
switch(config-if)# shutdown
switch(config-if)# speed 1000
switch(config-if)# no shutdown
switch(config-if)# exit
switch(config)# interface Eth1/32
switch(config-if)# shutdown
switch(config-if)# speed 1000
switch(config-if)# no shutdown
switch(config-if)# exit
switch(config)# show interface brief
