The customer wants to apply sha256 to the username password part.

The customer wants to apply sha256 to the username password part.

No matter how much I search the documentation, it seems that sha256 is not supported,
It seems to support ase, but this part is also not clear.
Is there a part that can be set with ase and checked through show run?

Is there any part that can solve this part through os upgrade?

Hello,

I checked the syntax on the NX7K, it looks like AES is the only option:

N7K(config)# feature password encryption aes

Thanks for your reply.
So, is there a command to check whether ase is applied?
