Hello,
Background - Server connected using 10GB sfp from one slot, and another slot. This goes to the Cisco 9K. I've provided a working example that is VPC 6, and my other not working example VPC 19.
I need some help with my VPC's. VPC19 is not connecting on the same Switch, it has multiple VLANs and the other one has a single VLAN.
I've attached the configs that I am using. I've done some checks.
When I run the VPC Consistency Checksthey check out to match.
I've defaulted the port interface for Eth1/19 and added the config again.
I've even deleted the PO19 and added it again.
I'm at a limbo not sure what to do next.
Other servers are working, but I do not understand why I do not see as much detail on the VPC19 compared to VPC6 when running the consistency checks.
Both configs on both Switches output the same detail, I have done exactly the same steps on both Switches.
It just maybe something so simple.
I have tried creating the port first then the port channel, and vice versa but still no joy so i am reaching out. Thanks

Hello @RG78874
Same configuration regarding vPCs. So the only "difference" is the server.
Check you lacp or bonding configuration on SERVER_NO2...mtu also...vlans allowed on Server Trunk port.

EtherChannel is a technology used to combine multiple physical Ethernet links into a single logical link, offering increased bandwidth and redundancy. It can be configured in a static way: "On," which statically bundles ports without any negotiation protocol and requires matching configurations on both ends. LACP and PaGP are dynamic ways.

check MTU also remote vPC 19 from port-channel check is the Port-channel come up.
You have many VLAN are suspended, check the logs what is the reason of suspended
also suggest to remove lacp rate fast ( until you understand this correctly)
Also what is other side can able to match LACP capable ?

Hi, I've added MTU to the config, why do i need need to do it again.
Remote VPC you mean Peer vpc, or what do you mean?

See the configuration difference, when you build vpc the configuration should match., if not they not going to form vPC ?
Both the vPC member should have identical configuration. as i was suggested on other post, remove vpc 19 on the port-channel configuration and see if the LACP come up ?
what is the end device connected to that vPC

Can I see
Show vpc breif <- from both vpc nexus
Show lacp count
Show lacp neighbor
Thanks

@MHM Cisco WorldThank you, but how would be the best way to unsuspend vlans from the vpc config?
06-15-2024 01:24 PM
Show vpc breif
Give us some info if allow vlan in PO in both NSK is same or not.
It can you allow some vlan in NSK1 and not allow it in NSK2
Show lacp count
Give us some info about lacp exchange between server and nexus
Lastly
Show lacp neighbor
Give us if the cable is connect to correct port or not

ok i'll have to get back to this once i get the right config, and i'll find out more on the server end.
