Hello,

Is port is a trunk port ? Does it still move traffic? Are Vlans present and STP running? orange/amber means STP is blocking port per vlan x
I would not worry about port/link lights on switch trunk ports (orange/ amber) too much unless traffic is stopped or not flowing the way u want it to do. STP on trunk ports will control those lights. While green light is good (of course), PT will show orange sometimes while port is still moving traffic. This is because STP is per vlan meaning vlan 1 maybe blocked while other vlans are not. PT has 1 light indicator per port even if that port is a trunk port and moves traffics via many vlans. Perhaps the PT main switch port light (orange/ amber/green) is good indicator only for vlan 1 while not for others.
Regards, ML
