Cisco Resilient Ethernet Protocol (REP) and link redundancy

Hello.

My name is Patricia, from Spain. I would like to know if Cisco Resilient Ethernet Protocol (REP) supports aggregated ports (EtherChannel) in the ring segment.

Another question is if Cisco REP supports double-ring topologies (two one-way rings).

Thank you very much.

Hi,

REP is supported on EtherChannels, but not on an individual port that belongs to an EtherChannel.
And REP is supported only on Layer 2 trunk interfaces.

Please see the below link for more information about Cisco REP's

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/metro/me3400/software/release/12.2_52_se/configuration/guide/swrep.html

Hope this helps you..
