I am trying to backup config automatically using SCP command

commands I am using

archive

path scp://user:pass@server/$h

write-memory

I am not getting any error message but when I do show archive I get this

The maximum archive configurations allowed is 10.

The next archive file will be named scp://user:pass@80.76.122.134/rtr01-<timestamp>-1

Archive #  Name

1        :Error - No such file or directory <- Most Recent

2        :Error - No such file or directory

   3

   4

   5

   6

   7

   8

   9

   10

Note:- My username and password is correct as when I do a manual backup it works, and Also the server is a Linux box and at remote location

thanks

Hi,

There's nothing wrong with your configuration as I've just tried that exact configuration on two different routers and it works fine.

When you say a manual backup works without issue do you mean it works if you execute a copy run scp://user@pass:80.76.122.134/ command directly from the CLI?

If that's the case then it's possible that this is a bug. What is the platform and the IOS version you're running?

Regards

Yes copy running config commands works fine

Router I am workin is Cisco 1900 version 15.2(3)
