Cisco SG300 Small Business Switch -- Duplicate IP Address Message

Hello all you Network Gurus!

I have an issue with the Cisco SG300 switch. In the logs of these switches(I have several of them on my network), I'm seeing the same messages:

10-Oct-2013 18:41:07 :%IPADTBL-N-IPDUPLICATE: Duplicate IP address 10.1.1.77 from MAC 44:ad:d9:12:ae:a0 was detected on VLAN 1, port gi10, aggregated (4)

10-Oct-2013 18:37:44 :%IPADTBL-N-IPDUPLICATE: Duplicate IP address 10.1.1.77 from MAC 68:bc:0c:5b:d9:1f was detected on VLAN 1, port gi10

The two MAC Addresses repeatedly show up the same on all of my SG300 switches, reporting that there is a duplicate. After I did some digging I found that these MAC's belong to two different Cisco 3850 switches on another part of the network(meaning the SG300's are not connected to them, but are on the same VLAN).

Some other things to note:

- The IP Address being reported as duplicate is the IP Address of the SG300 switch. So when I say all of the SG300's are showing the same message, I mean it that the IP Address showing up belongs the that SG300 switch respectively.

- The two MAC's are the same on all the SG300's. Meaning 44:ad:d9:12:ae:a0 and 68:bc:0c:5b:d9:1f are showing up the same on all the SG300's.

I have given this a lot of thought, but I have not been able to find a reason why this would be happening. I would greatly appreciate any insight anyone could provide. Also, I can provide any relevant configs if necessary.

Thanks.

Just in case someone finds this later......The fix for me was upgrading the SG300 switch firmware to the current version(as of 1/14/15) 1.4.0.88.

I am no longer seeing the duplicate IP error in the switches logs.
