Hi Team,

Please help me to check the attached CPU threshold output which i got from my switch when i used "show processes  CPU  history" command from the SSH.

I want to know what could have caused this and what needed to be done to rectify it.

I will appreciate swift contributions from experts who has had same issue on their switch.

Thanks

Hi
theres nothing wrong there cpu is very low , check you show proc cpu sorted to see if it high currently but loks to be only 20%
CPU also needs to be captured in real time so after the fact wont show you much anyway apart from it ran high

This is what you would need to worry about , im dealing with this on a switch now due to a CPUHOG with ISE , this is considered high service effecting cpu

Thanks for your quick response. Just worried about the flapping as shown in the attachment, or don't you think it calls for concerns!!!?

Hi
sorry what do you mean flapping the attachment only shows CPU history , is there more that did not upload ? also was this switch rebooted ? just wondering as the CPU history has like a flatline

also if this only happened please post both below commands , if the switch has been rebooted the show logs will not provide anything though

show proc cpu sorted -- this will show current usage
show loggs - may show anything irregular that may have happened
