I need to propose a solution to one of our clients. Details are as follows:
They have existing WS-C4506-E Switch with Sup6E. They have requested for 10G Copper Connectivity on this switch. As far as my knowledge is concerned, we can propose a WS-X4606-X2-E line card with 6x Cisco OneX Converter Module (CVR-X2-SFP10G ) and SFP-H10GB-CU3M=
Please let me know if this configuration will work. Kindly also explain what switch models will be supported by this Convertor Module as I believe this module is not supported on all Cisco Switches.
