CISCO Universalk9 IOS

Hi Guys,

I have a cisco switch WS-C2960S-48TS-L running c2960s-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE7 Version 12.2(55)SE7.

Does anyone know if c2960s-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE7 IOS can run on any 2960 switch platform.

I intend to run the same universal IOS on WS-C2960X-48LPS-L switch.

Will this universal IOS (c2960s-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE7) work on WS-C2960X-48LPS-L switch .

12.2(55)SE train for the 2960S won't run on 2960X.  

I won't even make any recommendation to "try" 2960X's EX-series IOS.

i also have c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-2.E5 which is running on WS-C2960X-48TS-L. 

Would this universal work on WS-C2960X-48LPS-L switch.

Yes, the file "c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-2.E5" is compatible.
