Cisco WS-C2960X-48FPD-L replacement

Hi,

Please kindly suggest which switch we can replace with Cisco WS-C2960X-48FPD-L. We are using stack so at any point of failure we have connectivity. We probably have more than 10-15 switches as of now at different locations. We are mainly using it for management and end-user support.

Since we are using Aruba clearpass in most of our locations, do you suggest  HPE Aruba 6300M - switch - 48 ports - managed - rack-mountable Mfg.Part: JL663A switch. We are using  Cisco 4800, nexus 9k and VSAN 3850 switches. I want to find out how Aruba integrates with Cisco.

Hi,

You can use the 9300 or the 9200 series as replacement.

Depends on your budget: 

• Catalyst 1000 uses "classic" IOS and does NOT support SD-Access
• Catalyst 9200/9200L runs on IOS-XE
• Catalyst 9300/9300L
