class-map and policy-map Not There Anymore

I just started configuring a new WS-C2960S-24TS-S switch and noticed that the global configuration commands "class-map" and "policy-map" are not there.  I use these to configure my QOS classifications.  I was running c2960s-universalk9-mz.122-53.SE2.bin and installed the latest IOS c2960s-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE2.bin to no avail.

Does anyone know if these commands have been deprecated, if so, could you point me in a new direction for traffic classification and marking?  If not, any ideas why I'm not seeing them?

It actually making me laugh that I figured it would take me about 5 minutes to get this switch configured and now, I'm on an expedition trying to find out what happened to my commands!

Thanks,

Pete

12.2(55)SE1 and 12.2(55)SE2 does support class-map and policy-map configuration on 2960 series.

Do you see an error message or is command missing from help menu?

Regards,

Sudha

Both of the commands are missing from the help menu and it will not let me enter them. I've never seen anything like this before and am quite perplexed.

That is very strange.  Did it allow you to enter the "mls qos" configuration line to enable QoS?

I tested the QoS commands for that code version on a WS-C2960S-24PS-L and it worked fine. Please attach a screen shot of show version and the help menu on the switch.

Hi Pete,

WS-C2960S-48TS-S  is a LAN LITE switch. It does not have the QoS features that you are looking for
