Hi all,
I have a Cisco 3750 switchs with SFPs. One of my customer that have point to point fiber connectivity from my premisses and his side. But problem is on the customer side he is using 3com old switch 4950 with GBICs. i just want to know if we connect both switch from my side SFP and his side Gbic it will work or not.
Please help me out in this.

Hi Fahad,
It should work fine. You need a fiber patch cord with one side LC (Cisco) and the other side SC (3com). Make sure that the opticis match the patch cord. For example: if your optics are Multimode, make sure you patch cord is also Multimode. If optics are SM then patch cord needs to be SM.
