config a new 9300 swtich

im new to this.  i have the configurations in a txt file.  i have remoted to it using a mgmt cable connected to the blue port on the back on serial 4.  i get the part that asks me to name the device but idk what to do afterwards.

If you have remote access on that c9300 it is a good start.

You have also configuration in a txt file. Copy past configuration under configuration terminal. 

Take care to not "cut" your remote access.

Hello,

if u have the config files already it is very simple, just copy everything into the command prompt in the global configuration mode. You won‘t need to change into the SubConfig menus if the person who created those config files also wrote the commands to change the configuration menu. 
It will look like this for example:

[Devicename](config)# interface [IF ID]
or

[Devicename](config)# line vty 0 15 

But there are many more options.

I also have the recommendation to insert those configs step by step. In the worst case the system won‘t insert everything because the buffer is overloaded.
