configuration of HSRP

In HSRP configuration how many switches(Maximum) are participated in this.Kindly tell multicast mac address for HSRP.

Hi,

you can have as many switches as you want but only one can be Active and only one can be Standby, all others will be listening.

HSRPv1 uses 224.0.0.2( all link-local routers)  and HSRPv2 uses 224.0.0.102
