Configuration recommendations for (2) Cisco Cores LAN switches in a HSRP redundant setup, connecting to (1) Meraki MX 100 firewall.

Hi,

I am looking for some recommendations, on how to configure, (1) MX 100 firewall, connected to (2) separate Cisco 9400 Core LAN switches in a HSRP redundancy setup. The Cores will have various L3 SVI VLANs for intervlan routing.

I am unsure on what I need to do on the Cisco 9400 Cores and the MX100 to have a full redundant topology here without any issues or asymmetric routing etc... 

Also confused on how to configure the MX100 LAN interfaces going down to each core for this.

Any other useful info please share not thought of.

Hi,

You need two /30 subnets, one connecting the MX100 to core-1 and one connecting MX100 to core-2. Than on the MX100, you peer with the Internet provider.

Never mined as I thought the MX is a Juniper MX. I am not familiar with Meraki. So, I am not sure what I suggested will work or not. Sorry!
