But I would not recommend configuring Cisco switch as ntp server.
Why not use a windows as ntp server instead?

- I agree with pman, that is counter-productive. Usually only a router can do that , but you should separate switching services from ntp service , the benefit being that an NTP server on the Intranet can easily be configured to sync time with the NTP-services offered by the ISP , using correct firewall policies.
