Hi,
I am currently considering a pair of Core Switch with 10 GE uplinks, stackable 3750E and modular Switch 4500.
The stackable option of 3750E is very attractive in terms of considering all the switchs as a single one, and uplinks to the stack is considered as STP.
Is it possible to have the same feature with Cisco 4500 and considering a pair of 4506 as a single switch and in STP terms a single switch.
Thanks,
Ashley

6500 have the VSS feature to support 2 switches working as one single switch, but I dont think currently 4500 support this.

Ashley,
SUP7-E on cat4500 support the hardware functionality of VSS. It will work the same way as Cat6500 VSS. The VSS software will be available in early CY2012.

Amit, Thanks for your information 5P!. I've been waiting for doing VSS on Sup7-E.
Many Thanks
