I am trying to configure the Cisco IE-5000-12S12P-10G switch to allow two servers connected to 10G SFP+ ports to communicate up to 10Gbps rate.
Both servers are connected to the switch over the CAT7/RJ45 cables via 10G RJ45 transceivers.
All ports are configured as default VLAN1
I can see each server has a connection bandwidth as 10Gb but when I run iperf utility the communication between the server never goes higher than a few Mbps.
I tried to use different interface types on SFP+ ports but nothing helps
Can anyone help me figure out what I am missing?

- Check speed/duplex settings on the ports when connected (show int status (e.g.))

Here is the command output:
show int status

The servers are connected to ports Te1/25 and Te1/26.

I found the root cause of the issue. The mtu size in the computer's network card was set to 9K however the switch port set to the default 1500. Once I change the computer network settings the connection rate increased to 10G.

I have the same problem, need to connect servers with 10Gb copper to an IE5000 switch. What kind of SFP did you use and except from the server MTU size did you need to configure anything in the switch
