Configuring Cisco IE5000 SFP+ interfaces

I am trying to configure the Cisco IE-5000-12S12P-10G switch to allow two servers connected to 10G SFP+ ports to communicate up to 10Gbps rate.
Both servers are connected to the switch over the CAT7/RJ45 cables via 10G RJ45 transceivers.

All ports are configured as default VLAN1
I can see each server has a connection bandwidth as 10Gb but when I run iperf utility the communication between the server never goes higher than a few Mbps.

I tried to use different interface types on SFP+ ports but nothing helps

Can anyone help me figure out what I am missing?

 - Check speed/duplex settings on the ports when connected (show int status (e.g.))

 M,

-- Each morning when I wake up and look into the mirror I always say ' Why am I so brilliant ? '
When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

Here is the command output:

show int status

Port Name Status Vlan Duplex Speed Type
Gi1/1 connected 1 a-full a-1000 10/100/1000BaseTX
Gi1/2 connected 1 a-full a-1000 10/100/1000BaseTX

Gi1/22 notconnect 1 auto auto Not Present
Gi1/23 notconnect 1 auto auto Not Present
Gi1/24 notconnect 1 auto auto Not Present
Te1/25 connected 1 full 10G SFP-10GBase-SR
Te1/26 connected 1 full 10G SFP-10GBase-SR
Te1/27 connected 1 full 10G SFP-10GBase-SR
Te1/28 connected 1 full 10G SFP-10GBase-SR

The servers are connected to ports Te1/25 and Te1/26.

I found the root cause of the issue. The mtu size in the computer's network card was set to 9K however the switch port set to the default 1500. Once I change the computer network settings the connection rate increased to 10G.

This is great info +5

Thanks for the feedback Eugene!

I have the same problem, need to connect servers with 10Gb copper to an IE5000 switch. What kind of SFP did you use and except from the server MTU size did you need to configure anything in the switch
