configuring glbp on 4500 switches

I have dual 4510R switches in lince operation with HSRP configured for failover. I am trying to configure GLBP instead of HSRP here.

1. Is this a good decision?

2. Can we configure just few VLANs on GLBP ehile others remain with HSRP just to test the operation?

In other words, can the HSRP and GLBP can cpo-exist in the same switch ?

Without knowing the present configuration of your network or your requirements, it's hard to say whether GLBP is a good idea for you.

In general, GLBP is more efficient than HSRP because it makes use of all routers in a group for forwarding packets.

Yes, HSRP and GLBP can exist on the same switch.
