Hi all,

I have a cisco asa with 2 interfaces where first interface has an ip 1.1.1.1 and it points to ntp server 1.1.1.2 for time synchronisation.

ntp on my asa is configured as below and it works fine.

"ntp server 1.1.1.2 source inside"

This asa has a 2nd interface with ip 2.2.2.1/24 where i want all devices within the 2.2.2.0/24 network to synchronise its time to this asa.

I configured the below command to my devices within 2.2.2.0/24 network but the time doesn't sync. Pls advise. TIA!

"ntp server 2.2.2.1"

As far as I know, ASA cannot act as an NTP server but only NTP client. The NTP source only means that the ASA will get time from your 1.1.1.2 server using the INSIDE IP address.
