We just migrated our vSwitch to Nexus 1000v and in the VMWare vSwitch we were able to configure the port-groups in Promiscuous mode and specify VLAN 4095 for our Opnet VMON's used to analyze traffic in the VM's. I know that when you configure the port-profiles as a trunk, this automatically adds VLAN 4095 but the only documentation that I see for Promiscuous mode is when you create a PVLAN. Is Promiscuouc mode supported in creating port-profiles?
