Configuring VTP Transparent Mode for extended vlans

Hi all, I did this lab with Packet Tracer but the ping fails. If I configure standard vlan instead of extended vlan, the ping works. Could anyone tell me what I’m missing? thanks

could be a bug in Packet Tracer. Can you post the (zipped) Packet Tracer project (.pkt) file ?

VTP does not work as it should in Packet Tracer. in older version VTP was not working at all; they have their own version of VTP.

you can check what is working or not in PT Menu under Help (one that opens web browser page).  it describes PT operations regarding different protocols.
