I'm tasked with creating a small wired / wireless LAN for a company function. I have the following to work with:
2911 ISR G2 with 15.4(3) M1 security bundle,
16 Gigabit Ports (two EHWIC-D-8ESG),
2 wireless AP's (3702e) w/ power injectors,
6 SG100-16 unmanaged switches
The unmanaged switches will be attached to 6 of 8 EHWIC-D-8ESG ports for a total of 96 ports ~ VLAN 10
The 2 WAPs will be VLAN 20 and using two SSID, one for 802.11n at 2.4 GHz & one for 802.11ac at 5Ghz.
Both VLANS will pull IP from DHCP Pools on the 2911. The router will be NAT'd to Gig0/0.
My question is, how does one use "ip dns view" to create DNS instances when one does not have an external DNS server available?

Hey Jon-Paul,
Take a look at the link below. It provides steps to configure IP DNS view.

Hope this helps,

Charles,
If I follow Joey Whelan's idea with ip dns views, does the ip nat inside statement at the end of the ip dns view script interfere with the NAT'd Gig0/0 setup on my overall topology or is it specific to the IP dns view section ?

Ip nat inside is not specific to ip dns view, however it is applied to the inside interface, which should not interfere with any other config.
Hope this helps.
